SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services for the community.

SASSA might be rendering services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it can be alarmed in regards to the superior variety of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some significant number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie here and there is no completely functional office dedicated to service the area every day. The support level developed for intervention encounters a high inflow of probable beneficiaries, which makes it tough for the Workplace to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more resources to empower the servicing of all buyers and improve usage of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
